The good news for fans is that a further four books exist in Cornwell’s series, which, if Netflix were agreeable, would take The Last Kingdom all the way to season six. Season one covered The Last Kingdomand The Pale Horseman, season two covered The Lords of the North and Sword Song, season three covered The Burning Land and Death of Kings, and season four has depicted events from The Pagan Lord and The Empty Throne. So far, each season of The Last Kingdom has loosely adapted two books in Bernard Cornwell’s Saxon Stories saga. Players get their choice of three heroes and are given a wide variety of powerful abilities to play around with. This mode put players in control of three general units as and allow them to unleash the full brunt of their legendary powers upon their enemies. Creative Assembly has announced that a new, free mode called “Dynasty Mode” will be coming to the game on August 8. Fans of Total War: Three Kingdoms are about to get another reason to hone their skills.
